1. Introduction and Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how The Alorialis Corporation (Alorialis, we, us, or our), an Ontario, Canada corporation, handles personal information in connection with the current Alorialis informational and early-access website. The current website does not offer public account creation, checkouts, pricing, ownership transfers, marketplace transactions, auction bidding, or a public contact form.

2. Accountability

Alorialis is responsible for personal information under its control. Privacy questions, access or correction requests, consent withdrawals, and complaints may be sent to admin@alorialis.com.

3. Information You Provide Directly

If you email Alorialis, we may receive your name, email address, organization, role, message, attachments, and any other information you choose to provide. Using the email link does not subscribe you to a newsletter or create an account.

4. Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the website, Framer hosting, security, and built-in analytics technologies may process technical information such as page and route activity, referring pages, campaign parameters, browser type, device type, operating system, locale, and an estimated country. Framer states that its built-in analytics does not use cookies or persistent identifiers and uses a daily visitor hash derived from an IP address and user agent with a rotating salt that is deleted daily.

5. How Information Is Collected

Information may be collected when you communicate with us directly, when the website and its hosting infrastructure operate, and when service providers process information on our behalf.

6. Purposes

We may use personal information to respond to enquiries, provide requested early-access or product information, operate and secure the website, understand aggregate site use, improve content and accessibility, prevent misuse, keep appropriate business records, and comply with legal obligations.

7. Consent and Other Lawful Authority

Where consent is required, Alorialis will seek meaningful consent appropriate to the sensitivity of the information and the context. Visiting the website is not treated as blanket consent for unrelated uses. You may withdraw consent, subject to legal, contractual, or operational restrictions that we will explain where applicable.

8. Limiting Collection

Alorialis aims to collect only the personal information reasonably needed for identified purposes. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information by ordinary email unless it is necessary and you have confirmed an appropriate method with us.

9. Use and Disclosure

We use and disclose personal information only for identified purposes, compatible purposes a reasonable person would consider appropriate, or as permitted or required by law. We may disclose information to service providers acting for us, professional advisers, or public authorities where legally required. If future Alorialis services introduce materially different uses, this policy and any required consent process must be updated before those uses begin.

10. Service Providers and Cross-Border Processing

The website is built and hosted using Framer and may rely on infrastructure and service providers that process information outside Ontario or Canada. Information processed in another jurisdiction may be subject to that jurisdiction’s laws and lawful access requirements. Exact processing locations and provider-specific retention periods have not been independently verified for this draft.

11. Retention and Disposal

Alorialis will retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described, to maintain appropriate records, or to meet legal requirements. When information is no longer required, we will delete, destroy, or anonymize it where practicable and permitted. No fixed retention schedule is represented by this interim policy.

12. Safeguards

Alorialis uses administrative, technical, organizational, and physical safeguards where relevant appropriate to the sensitivity and context of information. No internet transmission, email service, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, and this policy does not claim a security certification.

13. Cookies and Similar Technologies

No non-essential advertising, behavioural tracking, session-replay, or marketing cookies were identified in the current Framer project. Framer’s built-in analytics is described by Framer as cookieless. A strictly necessary security cookie may be set if Framer presents a distributed-denial-of-service challenge. If non-essential cookies or similar technologies are introduced later, Alorialis must update this policy and implement any required notice or consent before activation.

14. Analytics

Framer’s built-in analytics may provide aggregate or limited site-use information such as page views, visits, referrers, campaign parameters, browser, device, operating system, locale, and estimated country. Alorialis has not configured Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, or another third-party marketing or session-replay tool in the current project.

15. Electronic Communications and Canada’s Anti-Spam Law

Emailing Alorialis does not automatically subscribe you to promotional messages. Where Canada’s anti-spam law applies, commercial electronic messages will be sent only with consent or another lawful basis, will identify The Alorialis Corporation and provide contact information, and will include or honour an unsubscribe mechanism as required by law.

16. Your Choices and Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access personal information held about you, request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information, withdraw consent, or ask how information has been used or disclosed. We may need to verify your identity and may refuse or limit a request where the law permits or requires, with an explanation where appropriate.

Please first contact admin@alorialis.com so Alorialis can review and respond to a privacy concern. If a concern is not resolved, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or another regulator with jurisdiction.

18. Children and Minors

The website is intended for a general art-world audience, and artists may include young people. Alorialis does not knowingly seek to collect personal information from a child without appropriate consent or other lawful authority. A parent, guardian, or young person with a concern should contact us. Do not send sensitive information about a minor by ordinary email. Ontario legal review is required before publication of this clause.

19. Privacy Incidents

If a privacy or security incident creates obligations under applicable law, Alorialis will assess the incident, keep required records, and notify affected individuals or regulators where required.

20. Third-Party Links

The website may link to websites or services operated by others. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and Alorialis is not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
